Alarm Pro is the next evolution in alarm clocks for the Mac. Alarm Pro is packed full of features and is easily customizable. Alarm Pro comes with local weather updates and 8 beautiful background colours all packed into a single application. The colours available are red, blue, pink, purple, chrome, orange, yellow and green.
With Alarm Pro, local weather updates come to you. No configuration is required. Alarm Pro knows where you are and pulls in the weather updates from the cloud*. Weather updates include the current weather as well as a full five day forecast, all beautifully laid out on the main dashboard.
Alarm Pro lets you easily add and customize as many alarms as you like.
The main dashboard is conveniently laid out to give you easy access to the latest alarm and weather information.
In the configuration view, you can change the background by hovering over the colour band to reveal the background colour controls. A summary of all your alarms is shown in a list.
Double click on an alarm or select the "Edit" button to make detailed changes to an alarm. You can use the 10 built in sounds or select a playlist from your iTunes library. If that doesn't fit your needs, you can even create a custom playlist right inside of Alarm Pro using the music from your iTunes library.
Compose your custom playlist using songs from your iTunes music collection. Double click on a song to play and stop it.
For easy access to your alarms, use the status bar menu item to view, control and create alarms. You can create an alarm from scratch or select from the 5 preconfigured alarms set to fire 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes from now.
When time is up, your alarm will fire and you will get a message. You can either stop or snooze the alarm.
Alarm Pro comes with 10 built in alarm sounds; alarm clock, beach waves, bell, bird, cow, fireplace, machine gun, rooster, sunny day and traffic jam.
*In order to receive weather updates you must be using a WIFI connection and location services must be enabled. To enable location services, go to System Preferences -> Security. Select "Reset Warnings" and then deselect "Disable Location Services".
